Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return on eligible items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, unworn, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at davy@byblackstag.ie. Once your return is approved, you’ll receive the return address and instructions on how to send your item back. Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.

### Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We'll do our best to resolve the issue quickly.

### Exceptions – Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

- **Custom and personalised products** (e.g. items with initials, bespoke tooling, custom sizes or colours)
- Gift cards
- Sale items

### Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original (if eligible), and place a new order once the return has been approved.

### European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being delivered to a country in the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery — for any reason, and without needing to provide justification. This applies only to **non-custom items**. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned with proof of purchase.

### Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved. If it is, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.
